Bradford Clean Air Zone Charges and Exemptions

bradford clean air zone

Since the council preferred the option to initiate Type-C+ clean air zone in Bradford, which has been introduced in 2022, you will need to pay a daily charge to enter the Bradford Clean Air Zone (CAZ). If your vehicle is non-compliant with the required emission standards or is not exempt.

Excluding taxis, private hire vehicles and HGVs, CAZ charges will not be applied to passenger vehicles & motorbikes regardless of using them for work purposes. It’s worth noting that in other zones in cities, these private vehicles and motorbikes may need to pay the charge.

Do I need to pay the charge?

You can check if you are required to pay the Bradford Clean Air Zone (CAZ) charge by using the UK government’s online vehicle checker. Using the required registration number, you can check your individual vehicle charge or multiple vehicles if you are a business or organization.
