Since the council preferred the option to initiate Type-C+ clean air zone in Bradford, which has been introduced in 2022, you will need to pay a daily charge to enter the Bradford Clean Air Zone (CAZ). If your vehicle is non-compliant with the required emission standards or is not exempt.
Excluding taxis, private hire vehicles and HGVs, CAZ charges will not be applied to passenger vehicles & motorbikes regardless of using them for work purposes. It’s worth noting that in other zones in cities, these private vehicles and motorbikes may need to pay the charge.
