Drive smarter with dynamic route planning

What if I told you you’d never have to sit in heavy traffic, drive in bad weather, or make a left (or depending on where you’re driving, a right) turn again?

In trucking, it’s not just a case of getting from A to B. It’s about getting from A to B in the fastest, smartest, most efficient way. And, as both you and I know, it all comes down to route planning.

Dynamic routing combines GPS data and adjustability to deliver a route that is as good as it gets in real-time terms. By shaving off needless miles, taking the fastest route, and circumventing congestion or major collisions, moving from one point to the next can become much simpler. I’d even go as far to say it makes for a pleasurable experience.

You can adjust the route according to the size and type of vehicle you’re driving, to avoid low bridges, narrow roads or other hazards. So if you’re driving a vehicle transporter, for example, your route planning might well take you a different way than if you’re at the wheel of a pickup truck.

Better routes mean happy drivers, but they also mean greater efficiency, so the boss is happy too. Route optimization, territory planning, and the ability to forecast really do make for a win-win combination.

Most drivers know the roads like the back of their hand, but dynamic routing just makes those roads a little less congested than usual.
