Logical Logistics are looking for either a Consultant or an Account Manager with experience of working in the transport industry, to work alongside a Senior Consultant on a busy driving desk.

As a Consultant within the Logistics Team you will maximise the sales and gross profit in the supply of contract and permanent/temporary workers to clients in line with pre-defined company objectives and values. To take ownership of running your own hybrid desk of freelance and permanent clients, building internal & external relationships to ensure you successfully meet individual and team targets.
Main Accountabilities
Recruitment, Search & Resourcing- Actively headhunt, identifying suitable candidates for both Temporary, Contract and Permanent positions. Using social media, networking and referrals to advertise and attract candidates and build on going relationships, target candidates to hires for both existing and new clients. To ensure full compliance of the candidate focused recruitment process. Screen candidates, interview, do appropriate background checks and organise interviews. Provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities.
Ensure all activities are recorded and maintained on our internal systems
Account Management- To ensure ongoing servicing and development of all accounts to maximise full GP potential. Attending site visits, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring payment terms are negotiating, agreed and documented. To ensure appropriate credit information is obtained prior to supply and where applicable monitor credit limits to ensure no un-authorised over Trading. Building on and developing relationships in order to gain a better understanding of clients immediate and long term recruitment needs and requirements.
Payroll/System Compliance (Mircodec) -Ensure payroll information is accurate and timely, ensuring that all timesheets are received and authorised. Liaising when required with Accounts department to ensure smooth running of the payroll process. Keeps own desk operating efficiently and fully compliant with company procedures.
Ensures the Company's MS system (Microdec) up to date with information on all customer interactions and candidate information.
