Exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Trainee to work in the import department of a well established international freight forwarder based in Colnbrook. You will have the chance to receive full training in all areas of the department providing you with a solid career path in an ever expanding and ever changing industry.
Training will be provided as follows:
* Communication skills – Liaison with customers by telephone and email
* Administration – Booking deliveries/collections
* Stock control – both in and out of the facility
* IT – Completion and updating of spreadsheets
* IT – Monitoring of shared mailbox
* Customs entries
* Dangerous goods
Skills:
The role requires focus and attention to detail and accuracy at all times. You will need good keyboard skills, to be computer literate and a quick learner able to follow instruction and have a flexible, hands on approach.
Hours of Work:
Full time – Monday to Friday – 9am to 5.30pm – occasional out of hours call outs when fully trained
Benefits:
Hourly rate: Dependant on level of experience
Additional payment for overtime and call outs
Other:
Own transport necessary due to limited public transport
